Just past the Twin Cities western suburbs, Montrose is a hideaway community like no other. Montrose is a quiet town just west of the Twin Cities metropolitan area, filled with old fashioned small town charm. A quick drive up the highway 12/394 corridor provides residents with the convenience of major retail shopping, specialty antique stores and access to major medical facilities.

Montrose students enjoy high quality educational opportunities throught the Buffalo-Montrose-Hanover school district. The in-town elementary serves grades K-5, and a new middle school site in town has been purchased. The neighboring town of Buffalo is home to the area high school.
